Stress Stacks Up In the Body and Need To Get Rid Of It

Contrary to popular opinion Stress is not unhealthy if we can release it from our body. One way to do this is by articulating our fear, accepting whatever we have no control over and exploring the control we do have over outcomes that scare us.

Get into pairs and describe a situation that is worrying you then take turns in asking (your partner)

What is your ‘worst case’ scenario.

How likely is it, on a scale of one to ten, that this scenario will occur?

Ask, what would be the best possible outcome that could occur?

Ask about the things that worry them but that they cannot control, eg bosses mood.

Ask about the things that they CAN do OR CAN influence.

Working in groups is the most powerful to learn how to trust and to feel support and dissolve stress.
